The Museum of Play and Art is a kids centre designed to inspire creativity and whilst being a safe space for young children to play.

The client came to me with a goal in mind. The aim was to produce a soft play area that would be safe for kids to play and parents to walk on. The products had to be durable and beautiful.

The end result was a carpet backed system that was made of a dual density foam core. This would allow parents to walk safely without rolling ankles, but it also had the ability to absorb impact. Each cover was designed in a way that could be easily replaced incase the material was torn or foam became too soft.
